The young girl developed a love of sport at an early time. While she competed in different sports in college and at university, she made the decision to go into business as an journalist. Taft started her career with Fox Sports North after graduating from Boston University with a degree in broadcast journalism. Along with covering sports Taft also worked as social media journalists and filling in for many games. The position was swiftly transferred into Fox Sports 1 News and Highlights. Taft was a reporter for FS1 that covered a variety of important tournaments. Additionally, she worked as the college's sideline reporter. Then, Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt were appointed as the head of the college football coverage. It was in 2018 that she became famous when she was chosen to serve as the moderator for the TV program Skip and Shannon Undisputed. This is the same position she is still in until today. Recent appearances include hosting CFB Inside Slant on her own as well as being the pit reporter of the Discovery series Battlebots.
